I started writing my planned article for today, but when it reached 1000 words and had no end in sight, I decided to write this one instead and that continue the other tomorrow.

I’m not entirely sure what happened, but I got a little carried away with a subject I’m pretty passionate about, so you’ll have to forgive me substituting this rambling mess instead, but you’ll be able to read the other post shortly.

Maybe I need to be more disciplined with the type and length of posts I write, particularly on weekdays. I’ve been pleased with my consistency of posting for the daily blog challenge, despite only being in week two, but already this week I’ve written over 10,000 words, which is an accomplishment in itself as far as I’m concerned.

Writing a blog post plus 1000 words each day has been difficult, particularly after returning to work, but I’m really enjoying the discipline of the routine, and it’s encouraging other positives as well, such as waking up earlier, and getting regular exercise in.

Anyway, enough rambling for today. I’ve got tomorrow’s post to work on; it’s a good one, I promise.
