I’m Karl Rivers, a Director of IT with more than 25 years in education. This blog is where I write about what I see: the tools that work, the ones that don’t, and the decisions that school leaders and IT teams face when technology lands on their desks.
Most of what I write covers edtech, devices, AI in education, and the operational side of running technology in schools. I try to be honest about trade-offs rather than cheerleading for any particular vendor or platform. If something is good, I’ll say so. If it’s not ready, I’ll say that too.
